Refund, Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy


1. Applicability of Policy

By placing an order on oddoneout.in or using the OddOneOut Exchange Portal, you agree to comply with this Refund, Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, we kindly request that you do not proceed with your purchase.

📌 Please note:

  • OddOneOut reserves the right to revise this policy at any time without prior notice.

  • The version of the policy published on oddoneout.in at the time of purchase will apply to your order.

2. Exchange & Return Policy

At OddOneOut, we pride ourselves on quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Every garment undergoes multiple quality checks before leaving our studio, ensuring you receive products that meet our high standards.

However, we understand there may be situations where you need to return or exchange an item. We are here to make that process as smooth as possible while maintaining fairness and transparency.

How to Initiate an Exchange or Return
  • You can email us at customercare@oddoneout.in within 3 days of receiving your order.

  • Or simply log into your OddOneOut account, go to ‘My Orders’, and select the item you want to exchange/return.

Once your request is reviewed and approved by our team:

  • A reverse pick-up will be arranged where our courier partner comes to collect your item.

  • Reverse pick-up is attempted twice only.

  • If reverse pick-up service is not available for your location, we will:

    • Email you a return shipping label.

    • Provide our warehouse address and clear packaging & shipping instructions.

📦 All returned products must reach OddOneOut within 7 days of exchange/return approval.


Conditions for Eligible Exchange/Return

For your return or exchange to be approved, the product must meet all of the following:
✅ The product is unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.
✅ All tags, labels, and original packaging are intact.
✅ Items purchased as a set must be returned as a full set.
✅ There must be no stains, odours, perfume traces, alterations, or tampering.
✅ Items should be in a hygienically safe, saleable condition.

Any product returned in visibly worn or damaged condition will be rejected and sent back to you.

Valid Reasons for Exchange/Return
  • The size ordered does not fit.

  • The product is defective or has a manufacturing fault.

  • The product or packaging was damaged during delivery.

Quality Check & Processing Timeline
  • Once we receive the item, it undergoes a thorough quality check.

  • If it passes, we process your exchange or refund within 7–10 working days.

📌 If the requested size is out of stock:

  • You can select a different product, or

  • We will issue a Gift Card for the value of your purchase (valid for 6 months).

Exchange Fee
  • ₹129 fee for all size exchanges (covers shipping & handling).

  • Charged only once per order even if items were delivered separately.

  • Each item can only be exchanged one time – multiple exchanges for the same item are not allowed.

3. Refund Policy

OddOneOut refunds are generally issued in the form of Gift Cards, unless otherwise stated.

🎟 Gift Card Terms

  • Valid for 6 months from date of issue.

  • Non-transferable (cannot be sold or given to someone else).

  • Non-returnable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • No extensions will be made after expiry.

Refund to Original Payment Method

  • In certain cases (such as cancellations before dispatch), refunds may be sent back to the original payment method.

Processing Time: 7–10 working days after QC approval.

Refund handling by payment type:

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunded via bank transfer (minus shipping).

  • Card / UPI / Net Banking: Refunded to the same account/card used for payment.

Shipping charges are always non-refundable.

Refund Timelines
  • If more than 15 working days have passed after refund approval and you have not received it, email us at customercare@oddoneout.in.

  • All return issues will be concluded within 20 days of receiving the product.

Prepaid Orders
  • All prepaid orders are final.

  • Refunds for prepaid orders are always issued as Gift Cards.

4. Color Disclaimer

We do our best to photograph and display product colors accurately.

⚠ However, slight variations may occur because of:

  • Studio lighting during shoots.

  • Screen resolution differences on your device.

Such variations are normal and not considered defects.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned, refunded, or cancelled:
Sale or discounted products (may be exchanged if stock is available).
Cash on Delivery (COD) orders – no refunds.
Customized or altered garments.
Gift Cards – they are non-returnable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

📌 If a sale/discount item cannot be exchanged, a Gift Card for the same value will be issued.

6. Delivery Failures & Incorrect Address

  • Customers must ensure they provide a correct and complete delivery address.

  • If the courier cannot deliver because of incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, the product will be returned to OddOneOut.

In such cases:

  • Shipping fees will not be refunded.

  • Reshipping will require you to pay new shipping fees.

📌 OddOneOut is not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, weather, or strikes.

7. Lost or Damaged Returns

If you ship the return yourself:

  • Please pack securely.

  • Use a reliable courier with tracking.

📌 OddOneOut is not responsible for:

  • Returns lost in transit by customer-arranged couriers.

  • Returns damaged due to poor packaging.

8. Partial Returns

  • You may return part of an order (e.g., one item out of three).

  • Refunds will be issued as Gift Cards for the returned item(s) (minus shipping).

  • Items purchased as a set must be returned as the full set – partial set returns are not accepted.

9. International Orders – Duties & Taxes

  • International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees.

  • These charges are non-refundable, even if the product is returned.

10. Cancellations

(a) By Customers – Indian Orders
  • You can cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it by:

Before dispatch: Full refund to your original payment method.
After 24 hours: Cancellations are not allowed.

If you reject a prepaid delivery: ₹200 will be deducted as shipping before issuing your Gift Card.

📌 Repeated COD refusals: Customers who repeatedly reject COD parcels may lose COD privileges.

(b) By Customers – International Orders
  • Can also be cancelled within 24 hours.
    ❌ No cancellations after 24 hours.

  • Customers are still responsible for any duties or taxes already incurred.

(c) By OddOneOut

OddOneOut may cancel an order if:

  • The product is out of stock.

  • There is a pricing or listing error.

  • There are fraud concerns.

📌 You will be notified and refunded promptly if this happens.

11. Incorrect Items Sent by Mistake

If we mistakenly send you the wrong item:

  • We will arrange return shipping at no cost to you.

  • We will ship the correct item at no extra charge.

12. Force Majeure

OddOneOut will not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, such as:

  • Natural disasters

  • Strikes or labour issues

  • Government restrictions

  • Courier disruptions

13. Pricing & Policy Updates

  • Prices and promotions on oddoneout.in may change at any time.

  • Orders placed before a price change will not receive retrospective discounts.

  • The latest version of this policy on oddoneout.in always applies.

14. Sustainability Note

We care about the environment! 🌱
We encourage you to reuse the original packaging when returning products – it helps us reduce waste and supports sustainability.
